Affogato is an Italian dessert. It is usually a scoop of ice cream or gelato with a shot of hot espresso poured on top. We were first introduced to it at a restaurant in Arizona and absolutely loved it. They served it with chocolate bundino, a brownie with a scoop of vanilla gelato, topped with a shot of hot espresso. It was absolutely delicious!
