If you’re here to make homemade coffee creamer, that means you don’t like black coffee. I’m one of those people!

I used to buy flavored creamers at the grocery store all the time to save money from going to the local coffee shops. But then, I discovered I could easily make my own delicious creamer at home and it doesn’t have all the extra “junk” and preservatives like the commercially made ones!

Just a few simple ingredients and about 5 minutes or less and you have a great homemade creamer to compliment your coffee!

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk

  • 18 ounces half and half

  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

Directions

  • Pour condensed milk into 32 oz mason jar.
  • Add half and half and extract to the mason jar.
  • Cover with lid and shake vigorously.
  • Add about 2 T of coffee creamer to your coffee.
  • Store in fridge.

Notes

  • Half and half: Depending on your liking, you can substitute heavy cream or milk in place of half and half.
  • Sweetness: This amount of half and half to condensed milk works for me. You can start with less half and half if you like a sweeter creamer or add more half and half as you go if it’s still too sweet for your liking. You can also use more or less of the creamer for a sweeter or less sweet coffee.
  • Extracts: You can use any flavor extract to make different creamers. My favorites are vanilla and almond. We’ve even made our own pumpkin spice syrup and added it to the base!
  • Non-dairy creamer: If you would like a non-dairy version, you can buy or make coconut sweetened condensed milk and mix it with coconut milk and/or coconut cream.
